Lorton VA Homes for Sale - Lorfax Heights is one of a handful of neighborhoods in Lorton VA with no home owners association, or NO HOA.  With homes situated on 1/2 acre lots, this neighborhood offers privacy, tranquility, all with the sought-after benefit of no added layer of rules and regulations.

One of Lorton's best kept secrets, you can literally drive by the main entrance to Lorfax Heights at Hooes Road and Dudley Road, and not even know the homes are there.  It's tucked away, yet still ultra convenient.  As one of the few neighborhoods that is walking distance to all three schools, Lorfax Heights is zoned for Halley Elementary, South County Middle, and South County High School. Lorfax Heights residents also have the benefit of school bus pickup in the community, this is due to the busy-ness of Hooes Road.

Getting around is super easy with quick access to Fairfax County Parkway (convenient to Fairfax, Fair Oaks, Fair Lakes), 123/Ox Road (Occoquan, Fairfax, George Mason University, Oakton, Vienna), and I-95 to points north (DC) and south (Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg).

Military families PCSing to The Pentagon or Fort Belvoir will also have a short commute, as Lorfax Heights is less than 10 minutes to Route 1, to northbound Fort Belvoir, and I-95 to the Pentagon.  There's also the Lorton VRE which is roughly 10 minutes away.  Wanna getaway to Florida for an extended weekend?  Hop in your car to the Amtrak AutoTrain and enjoy a relaxing train ride to Sanford, Florida.

Do you love to hike or bike?  Lorfax Heights is surrounded by beautiful trails where foxes and deer regularly roam, and there are six breathtaking parks nearby, including:

  • Occoquan Regional Park (with paddleboarding, kayaking, and Brickmaker's Cafe)
  • Pohick Regional Park
  • Mason Neck State Park
  • Fountainhead Regional Park
  • Burke Lake Park
  • South Run Park (including dog park and recreation center)

Even dining is closeby with the restaurants of Liberty, and historic Occoquan.
