Dupont Circle - Washington DC

Metro Access:  The Dupont Circle metro station (Red Line) has entrances at Connecticut Avenue and Q St. NW and Connecticut Avenue and 19th St. NW.

Interstate Access:  The Dupont Circle area has no quick access to an interstate, but Connecticut Avenue is a major thoroughfare, and it’s a quick trip across P St. to Rock Creek Parkway and the bridges to Virginia.

Closest Attractions:  Dupont’s major attractions include Dupont Circle itself (complete with fountain, chess tables, and unmatched people-watching), and the Philips Collection (America’s first museum of modern art).  You can easily reach all of DC's attractions by metro or bus from Dupont Circle.

Restaurants:  Dupont boasts some of the finest restaurants in DC.  Obelisk ranks highly for simple and elegant Italian cuisine, and Nora offers gourmet organic fare.  Pizzeria Paradiso consistently ranks as the best pizza joint in the city, and you can enjoy a great variety of places to sit outside and enjoy the scene.

Dry Cleaning:  You’ll find plenty of dry cleaners and laundries in and around Dupont Circle.  Nearby groceries include the Whole Foods Market at 14th and P and a Safeway on 17th St.

Gym: Gold’s Gym, Fitness First, Curves, Bally Total Fitness and Washington Sports Club all have location near Dupont.
