About three months ago, I was in the market for a new house and a new Realtor. I had been working with a Realtor for some time to both help me sell my home and obtain a new one. Needless to say, the process of selling my home and finding a new one did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped--from any angle. So, after my contract was up with my Realtor at the time, I began to actively hunt for a new one.

I began by asking friends for recommendations, but the Realtors that were recommended to me were Realtors who worked only in the Maryland area. I then began to search the Internet. It was there that I came across Tamara's website. I was impressed by not only the designations that she had, but also in the amount of general information that was provided on her website. She presented herself in a way that was very knowledgeable and personable. I sent her an email and within only a few hours, I received a response. Soon, we were out looking at houses.

During the process of hunting for a house, I noticed several things about Tamara. First, and I think most important, she is extremely dependable. If she says she will do something, you can trust that it will be done. She is also very meticulous about her work. For instance, once when I was in her office looking through an offer that we had made on a house, I noticed that she took the liberty of writing a letter on my behalf to the sellers. This was not a two-sentence letter. If fact, it was a full two pages. I did not request that amount of effort: she simply offered it. She always strives to put that extra edge on a bid that will help it get accepted.

Tamara listens closely to what you want and does not push her own personal view. My previous Realtor would push me away from a bid if she did not like the house. Tamara is the exact opposite. She is very knowledgeable about the process of buying a house, and she is more than willing to explain every detail (like when your deposit will be cashed and how that will influence the sellers). In a market where sellers are receiving 15 to 20 contracts, she helped me write a strong contract that would not only help me to win, but also to keep me out of the poor house. She was the sole reason I obtained the house that I wanted.

The reason that I wrote this letter was because when I was looking for a Realtor, I really did not receive any recommendations for anyone. I want other individuals, who may be in the same position that I was in to have the comfort and confidence that Tamara is the best at what she does.
